Framed Wood Slice Art - Rainbow

This piece is a framed backing with attached slices (sometimes called cookies) of a downed tree. The bark on the wood was left intact. Dye was used to color the wood to 7 colors. The slices then received coats of polyurethane. 

Measurements for this piece are approximately 27" wide x 7" tall. The frame's thickness is approximately 1 1/2".
