Description
A fretted 3 string guitar made with a Da Vinci Renaissance cigar box. Dimensions are 23 x 8 x 3 inches. The scale is 17 inches long and currently tuned to DAD. The hand made neck is Cherry and the fretboard is quarter-sawn Sycamore which was sourced from the town of Beaver, Arkansas. Springtime flood stage water release from Beaver Lake resulted in two large Sycamore trees falling. I harvested the wood and use it in many of my one of a kind hand crafted guitars. This is acoustic only, but the box can be opened and a pickup can easily be installed.
